Dan, i like how you made "telephone" the center of the design, and on ether side of it, feels kind of mirrored. you really succeeded in carrying the eye up, down, and back. i'm not sure if this piece would have benefited or not being slightly off center to implement the rule of thirds, but i think what you did works for the design. it feels like radio or (telephone) waves moving to both of the men talking to each other at the top and bottom of the design. after talking to you, i know that the middle fading words are the first words ever spoke over phone, but it's a bit hard to read.
